- The rest period must be work free. The employee can spend this time anyway he wants and there should not be any dispute about being available for some work or calls during the meal breaks.
- Meal breaks are unpaid and longer. The rest breaks are paid and shorter.
- During the meal breaks the employees can leave the premises of work and must not be entrusted with any work and are considered off duty.
- The employers and employees cannot change these laws based on mutual agreement.
